Source Code Manager (SCM) is an advanced tool for managing the source and binary files of multi-programmer projects, tracking revisions to the entire software system and making all releases consistent across the programming team. SCM combines UNIX X Windows functionality with powerful file access management and release revision tracking, without the SCCS/RCS hassles. Support for parallel development keeps all files available to all programmers at all times - never keeping programmers waiting for files to be checked in and out.

SCM's Modification Request System allows programmers to customize the flow, path, priority and status of modification requests, and whether each source code change must be tied into the request system.
